THE RESTAURANT

Close to the Hotel Montecarlo you will find the Ristorante ANTICO PIGNOLO. One of the most renowned restaurants in Venice.
Built in 1200, this house was the seat of a horseshoer forge for the horses of the royal stable.

From 1600 to 1700 was used as bread oven for a nunnery. The Ristorante Antico Pignolo opened in 1930 as elegant and exclusive place.
In the last 30 years the restaurant has been run by a new prestigious management. Each detail is followed with attention, creating a comfortable and first class atmosphere.
The "Antico Pignolo" boasts a prestigious wine-cellar with more than 900 kinds of wine coming from all over the world an selected with lovely devotion.
The wine-cellar, more than once internationally praised, has been receiving for many years the special "Best award of Excellence" for the best list of wines in the world.

THE GONDOLA TOUR

a 30' gondola tour starting from the "stazio" (gondola station) of St. Marks (calle Vallaresso), just in front of the Harry's Bar. A Venetian tradition to celebrate Carnival, spending a lively evening with friends and meeting new ones.
