THE MAGIC OF VENICE

The show was produced with an only female cast for the gala event of the SDC, organized by the sheik Nada Al Thani, at the presence of the S.A.R. sheik Mozah bint Nasser al Missned, and repeated the following evening for the agreements between  Qatar Petroleum, Exxonmobile and Edison. On this occasion the performance was transmitted live by Al Jazeera satellite channel.

THE PLOT

The show starts with the foundation of Venice and continues with other important events of its history: the trade with the East, the wars against the Turkish Empire over the supremacy in the Mediterranean Sea, the times of flourishing of the arts and the refined life of the 1800s, to end nowadays when the city - lost its political power and its powerfulness - remains a jewel of the world heritage. The play is narrated during a conventional day, intertwined with a love story between a foreign young man and two women who fell in love with him.
