SU E ZO PER I PONTI April 15, 2007
  Su e zo per i ponti is one of the many non-competitive track events which are organised in the city at all seasons.
Aa great number of Venetians as well as substantial groups coming from different places take part in it.
The route starts from the Ponte della Paglia and winds along the city calli, fondamente and campi, passing through most sestieri as far as the finishing post in Piazza San Marco.

  Venice Biennale > The 8th International Festival of Contemporary Dance will complete the three-year project that director Ismael Ivo has planned on the theme of the body. Right after Body Attack in 2005 and UnderSkin in 2006, the Body as Desire will inspire choreographers and dance companies from all over the world.

VENICE MARATHON October 28, 2007
  The 22nd Venice Marathon The Venicemarathon attracts over 6,000 runners from all over the world every year.
The marathon is held over the official Olympic distance of 42,195 kilometers. It starts from Stra and runs along the River Brenta and arrives in Venice via the Liberty Bridge. After crossing a floating bridge 400 feet long over the Grand Canal which leads to St. Mark's Square, runners reach the Riva dei Sette Martiri in the picturesque waterfront of Venice where the finish line is located.
